Choose your roller

• Straight 9 Roller — nine broad discs on a straight shaft. Best for long, flat sweeps along thighs, calves and forearms.

How to use it

1. Warm the skin with a little body oil or lotion so the wood glides.
2. Hold a handle in each hand and roll in slow, steady strokes, always working towards the heart.
3. Repeat each area for 30–60 seconds, easing off over bone or anywhere tender.
4. Finish with a glass of water, then wipe the roller dry.

Caring for your roller

Wipe clean with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Don't soak it, put it in the dishwasher, or leave it somewhere damp — it's real wood. An occasional rub of food-safe wood oil keeps the grain looking its best.
